Edward x Jacob 'Part Two'He was pacing, again. Billy watched him anxiously. Jacob knew he was aware of everything. He didn't blame Sam for ratting him out of the secret, but it would have been easier to live with Billy if he wasn't constantly watching him.  
"I'm going to make a phone call." Jacob said pointedly. Billy nodded, leaving silently. Jacob had no doubts he was still listening. Slowly, he reached for the phone. It had been a week. A full week since the...incident. He'd been a wimp up until now, but he had to talk to Bella. He had to try...try to tell her. He picked her number from speed-dial and waited.

Jacob was tempted to walk on the beach once more, but that offered for too much thinking time. No, he knew he had to keep his mind occupied and try not to think of… them. Though, with that leech it was turning out to be far more difficult than he had expected. Once again, Bella had been conveniently busy.
